Palstop® P5 – The Cooling Plate
The fire-protecting plates, which cool during the fire. The fire-protecting plate is a non-flammable material of the DIN 4102 – A1 class.
The Palstop P5 plates are used, first of all, as interlayers in „sandwiches” with other either constructional or insulating materials to absorb the thermal energy (the endothermic reaction) in steely constructions.

Technical Information
The Palstop P5 plate consists of ecological materials. It uses a glass fibre mat as a carrying material. These plates can be easily built in various constructional materials. It can be used as the fire wall in the „sandwich” type composition with mineral wool and with other plates as cooling inserts for doors and partition walls. They cool in the continuous way the surroundings in the range from 200 do 800 oC and absorb the thermal energy during the fire.
Thanks to the above mentioned properties Palstop P5can be used in various constructional fields to protect and cool the high temperature and fire sensitive materials in fire-protecting doors or partition walls. Depending on use, it allow to achieve the various fire classes from TF 60 to TF120.
