op® Pax – the plates widely used in various kinds of fire-fighting protections. These are the new generation plates created by modification of existing for many years and known in the home and foreign markets the Palstop® P plates. The plates are classified as the non-flammable constructional materials (the DIN 4102-A1 class).
The fire-protecting and insulating-cooling Palstop Pax plates are ecological products and do not include harmful compounds. Thanks to the new production technology used, it was possible to achieve an outstanding cooling properties in case of a contact with fire. They are the product of a high quality and their manufacturing remains under control of German Institute Fire Labs. They possess the German certificates ABP and PZH.
Technical Information
Thanks to use various kinds of coverages they can be glued to almost every kind of a base. They have the thermo-insulating properties, thanks to which, in the range of temperatures 200 to 800°C they cool the surroundings in which they are placed in a continuous way. Thanks to these properties the Palstop Pax plates are in many cases, just because of their thickness, the only material possible for use to anti-fire protection and to achieve the appropriate fire class.

There is also possible, at the customer’s wish, and in accordance with the needs for a given system, manufacturing thicker elements, also profiles with the thickness 60mm, by connecting the plates with the standard thicknesses. There are made so called composites, of which the profiles, on the customer’s wish, are cut in accordance with a drawing in the appropriate way.
We can offer, as a protection against harmful influence of ambient conditions, various kinds of coverages, for example multi-layer aluminium foil or other coverages which fulfil these terms.
Application
The Palstop®Pax material is widely applied in the fire-fighting protection. They are perfectly fit to protect any construction. Thanks to small thickness and a very easy treatment the plates can be used as the protection f entire surfaces of constructions or their elements, for example fire walls, doors, ceilings, partition walls, technical floors, internal parts of roofs, venting ducts, as cooling inserts for steely and aluminous profiles etc. They can be easily built-in compositions as interlayers of the sandwich type with other constructional materials like wool, chipboards, plywood or gypsum-carton plates. In case of covering all elements with plates they should be additionally coated with a protective plate, for example the MDF plate, fibreboard, paper-wall etc.
As full size laminating for fire doors and steel planking Palstop Pax protect against heat penetration and the resulting danger of combustion.
Applied full size laminated in door leaves Palstop Pax protects against spread of fire and heat penetration.
