Palstop P in the form the plate is non-flammable constructional material of the DIN 4102-A2 class, after covering with the protective foil of the DIN 4102-B2. Palstop P is an ecological product, manufactured of natural components on the basis of water and do not have harmful components. The main component of the Palstop P is hydrated silicate reinforced with glass fibre. In case of fire use of Palstop P facilitates achieving the fire resistance for 30,60,90 and 120 minutes. It keeps the high temperature resistance up to about 900°C.
Principle of operation:
Swelling of Palstop P under a high pressure (approx. 0,9 N/mm2) starts in the temperature of approximately 100°C.
Within a short time (approx. 70 sec) the material increases its thickness even 7 times. In this way is formed a non-flammable, heat-insulating and fire-protecting layer with the appearance similar to pumice. It closes any gaps and does not allow smoke and flame to pass through. The layer has very good thermo-insulating parameters (twenty times better than mineral wool). Moreover, the process of its creating absorbs a high quantity of energy and this process is accompanied by so called cooling effect.
Application:
- manufacture any kinds of gaskets for wooden, glazed and steely doors and as anti-flame protection against fire-fighting systems
- anti-flame protection of window panels in doors and windows
- anti-flame and anti-smoke protection of revision flaps, channels and venting grates
- protecting pads for door locks
- flame covers for technological conduits and cable passages in walls and ceilings – so called kabelbox
- fire-protecting cuffs for pipe passages
- anti-fire and anti-smoke seals for any joints and gaps in the building industry
