Palstop® Pax Insulating-Cooling Inserts
Insulating fire-protecting inserts are used to increase the fire resistance of constructions and constructional materials on the basis of aluminium and steely profiles mounted in glazed or panel constructional elements type: doors, windows, partition walls, facades. The cooling – insulating inserts have the multi-layer structure based on the basis, which is the Palstop Pax material. This feature gives them an exceptional mechanical strength against bending and compression. In the temperature up to 1200°C they keep the same features as in the ambient temperature. During the fire, when the steely profiles lose their physical and mechanical properties, the inserts remain stable, in fact keeping the entire construction.
These inserts are easily workable with appropriate tools. Every, even very complicated shape can be made with a very high accuracy. The quantity of material, its shape and size are accommodated individually to a given kind of profile and appropriate fire-resistance, which our customers want to achieve. Using the cooling-insulating inserts, you can fill the smaller quantity of chambers in the profile (in comparison to different fire-protecting materials), which reduces the weight of the construction considerably.
